So I have this habit, whenever I get a new cell phone I’ll treat it like a baby for the first few months. I’ll get tons of covers for it, screen protectors, and I’m super careful about handling it. Well give it a few months and I stop even putting a case on it and I start dropping it *accidentally* all the time.
I don’t know how this happens but I always do it. Therefore my current phone, a Samsung Galaxy S3, got pretty beat up recently and the screen was pretty messed up and cracked. It was totally useable, but I continued to drop it and it was getting kind of bad.
Here’s the fun part…
I for some reason decided I could replace the screen myself! YouTube gave me a very false sense of confidence on that one. I watched some videos, ordered the supplies, and Saturday night proceeded to eff up my phone horrendously. The glass just started shattering and I ended up breaking the LCD underneath the glass.
It was bad.
I ended up deciding to get it fixed by a local company in Sandy called Bad Apple.
I took it to them Monday morning, and Monday afternoon it was done.
GUYS it looks GOOD AS NEW. I am so impressed. I got a new back for it and I legitimately feel like I have a new phone.
I’m so thrilled, if you ever need something like that done, I highly recommend those guys.
I ended up being without a phone from Saturday night through Monday afternoon, which is not a long time at all but it felt like it! I truly didn’t realize how much I used my phone until I couldn’t. I was always reaching for it and going to get it and remembering I couldn’t use it.
We’re so attached to technology these days!
I think I’ll take it as a little lesson to spend less time on my phone.
(Although I am SO glad to have it back.)
I realize now I’ve said nothing about this outfit haha! It was just a casual outfit I wore a couple weeks ago. These Gap camo jeans were a great investment for sure.
I’ve also worn these ankle booties & this black moto vest a million times since I got them. It’s amazing how much just a vest can keep you warm!!
Hope you’re having a great week so far, did you do any amazing Black Friday or Cyber Monday??
