I’ve just been over here having so much fun with my Sprout by HP computer! You remember my last post about it? It is just such a blast – and sometimes I look at the Creator Gallery on HP just to see what people are coming up with. I had a light bulb moment and decided to make a custom makeup bag using MY OWN makeup!
First I scanned everything in that I might want on the bag. I wanted to use generic brushes and tools instead of actual makeup I use to keep it cohesive.
I then used my HANDS to swipe the photos down that I wanted on the bag. You can position them by just dragging them around on the mat and then saving it as a pdf, jpeg or png. EASY PEASY.
After a week my bag arrived and it looks so great! Totally thrilled with the results – you can make anything.
This is for sure my go-to travel makeup bag from now on! I have all these ideas now… what else can I scan in?!
Also they’ve developed a brand new technology with 3D scanning using a 3D turntable they’ve developed! You can scan a 3D object in, and then print it out on the HP 3D printer, or send it to a local tech shop for printing.
Such a cool technology, and so great for kids too to learn with! What would you make?
