1. Clinique Self Sun
As a naturally pale person, this is a daily requirement for me! If I don’t have even a little color on my face I very quickly look sick/unhealthy. I use this every night or morning – it has the most natural color and the scent fades really quickly so I don’t smell like “fake tanner” at all!
2. Tweezerman Folding Eyelash Comb
This combhas been a game changer for me with my eyelashes. I’ve been using generic Latisse (Careprost) and taking a hair/skin/nails supplement and really working on growing them longer and thicker. Part of making eyelashes look great is combing them out after applying mascara, and this is the best one I’ve tried so far!
3. Beauty Blender all.about.face Set
The lovely people at Beauty Blender sent me a package recently with this little kit in it. I have tried a blender in the past but never got the hang of it. I watched some tutorials on YouTube to figure it out and now I’m in love! My favorite is the medium sized one, my under-eye concealer applies SO much better now and creases so much less. This kit is a winner!
4. Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lipstick
Another PR package showed up on my doorstep a couple weeks ago filled with a ton of shades of these Bobbi Brown Art Stick lipsticks! I’ve tried about 5 of them so far and I just LOVE the consistency and colors. They’re not too loud so I can wear most on a daily basis without looking too done up. The consistency is great and they apply matte, but not dry. Favorite colors right now are ‘Honey Bare’ and ‘Pink Heather’.
5. Clinique Liquid Facial Soap – Mild
I just ran out of this and had to buy more, so I was reminded why it’s my favorite face wash! It is THE ONLY face wash I’ve ever tried (I’ve used a LOT) that completely removes all of my makeup including any eye makeup. I do double cleansing, so my first wash gets rid of the majority of makeup and I use my Clairsonic for good measure, and then I do another wash and focus on the rest of my eye makeup, and I’m TOTALLY cleansed. It’s not drying at all, and I just can’t live without it.
6. Fujifilm Instax Mini 70
SO MUCH FUN. I actually think I might have put this on one of my other “Favorites” posts, but oh well. I take it with me everywhere and I’m addicted. I was a hater before and I didn’t get the point of the tiny photos, but now they’re some of my most treasured photos I have. Just trust me and get one!
7. Neigene Collagen Plus
Collagen is all the rage right now, and for good reason. I actually work for Unicity so I was the first to get to try out their new Collagen Plus supplement, and I kind of freak out now if I run out. It has a light berry flavor, almost like cherry jello before it solidifies? That’s a weird description, but I really love it. I mix it with a Probionic (probiotics for gut health) and it helps me drink more water too because of the flavor. There are TONS of benefits to collagen (read more here) but just a few are: improved skin and hair, reduced joint pain (I have bad knees), strengthens hair, nails and teeth, and helps reduce wrinkles. Now that I’m 28 I don’t like to go a day without it!
8. Hobo International Wallet
I just scored this on Nordstrom Rack and I’m so excited about it! They are normally $110 and there are a few colors available in the $51-54 range (red, turquoise, grey, grey printed, orange printed). They fit everything and if I go into a store I usually just grab my wallet out of my bag and take that in. I love the grey because it’s so neutral, but now the orange is calling out to me!
9. G2G Protein Bars
Must have. I DO NOT do protein bars. They’re all gross, but these are SO good, especially if you let the chocolate chips melt a tiny bit in the sun. OOh so good. They do have a lot of sugar, obviously because they are tasty, but my concern is more with hunger. If I get hungry it is NO good, I get grumpy and angry. I eat one of my bars (always have 1 in my purse, 1 in my car, 1 at work…) and I’m good for another hour or two. SO necessary for me! (Lots of Costco’s have them.)
