Happy Father’s Day! This may seem like an odd time to post an outfit - but let me explain.
My Dad is my #1 fan. No matter what I wanted to do throughout my life, he was right there cheering me on and telling me I was the absolute best (even when I was definitely not.) My Dad was probably the only person who read many of my early blog posts. He still doesn’t really understand “blogging” and what I do on my little website here, but he still supports me 100%. He’s always trying to come up with ideas for me to grow my blog - my favorite of which has been mugs. Printing my logo and photos on mugs and “passing them out” to people. I may not have implemented that idea *yet*, but his enthusiasm and support show me how much he loves me.
Because of him I am entering the H&M Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year contest with ManRepeller. I think it would show my Dad that his hard work in raising me has paid off, that I believe in myself enough to pursue success in everything I do.
So here it is, my entry. It doesn’t hurt that half my wardrobe is from H&M - I adore the place! These culottes were made for me. I put them on and my husband said, “What is it the 1930’s?!” I WISH. This silk orange top is also right up my alley, and I know technically orange and blue don’t go together, but I’ve always loved it!
That’s what style is all about, what works for YOU. What YOU think looks good. That’s why I love my little space of the internet. I hope I can help you find what looks good to you, and inspire you to be confident and happy when you get dressed each day.
xoxo
