River Island Wrap Front Silk Dress (also available in a gorgeous yellow!) | Cecelia NY Heels c/o (old) (similar here) | GiGi New York ‘Chelsea’ Crossbody Bag c/o | Large Initial Necklace | Barefoot Blonde Two-Piece in ‘Sweet Cola’ c/o | Photos by Paige Nicolle
I know I’m kind of jumping back and forth on Insta and here with where exactly I’m at in pregnancy, but just FYI in these photos I was 23 weeks! Currently as of today, posting these photos I am 25 weeks – I can’t believe I hit the 6-month mark last week already! It seriously has gone by so fast, I thought it would feel like it’s taking forever, but each week I’m like wait WHAT?! She will be here so soon!
This dress is a REAL winner and I knew I HAD to post it for you guys. It comes in two beautiful colors, both equally perfect and I had a really hard time choosing between them. (Both are linked above.) It is NON maternity, so anyone can wear it but yes, totally works with the bump because the waist is elastic. The dress is actually polyester, but FEELS like real silk, the fabric is gorgeous and lays so well. I love the wrap front and I NEVER love a wrap front guys. I don’t have to wear any weird cami underneath because it overlaps so well, and I can even see it working well for breastfeeding (though I really don’t have a clue yet if I’m right about that…) I can’t even believe how inexpensive it is too – only $73! If you saw it in person you’d for sure feel like it was maybe a $150 dress, it’s THAT good. Did I convince you enough? I am just such a fan and had to make sure you guys knew about this gem.
Another note on these photos – see my hair? See how thick and voluminous it looks? I bow down to my Barefoot Blonde clip-ins for that! I just got their two-piece set in ‘Sweet Cola’ to supplement my new short hair and they’re really a game changer. Short hair can be so tricky and mine isn’t especially thick, so the two wefts are PERFECT to add just a little more volume and va-va-voom to my hair. Plus they’re so light and lay so flat I completely forget I’m wearing them! If you have short hair I highly recommend investing in a set.
