Apparently once a year I feel the need to throw on excessive amounts of sequins and take photos in the name of New Year’s Eve. Last year’s shoot was in a warm studio - remind me to do that again next time because it has been BITTER cold here lately! My secret tip is to wear like 3 pairs of tights, then you get the opaque look and you can wear whatever short short dress you like, AND you get a little warmth.

The second I saw this star print sequin dress I said, YEP - that’s a NYE dress. Then I said to myself, what goes with stars and sequins? FRINGE! New Year’s Eve is a great time to go above and beyond. I wish I could say I’ll be wearing this outfit out tonight, but in truth I will probably be snuggled up with hubs on the couch in pajamas watching a movie. In my opinion though, that sounds like perfection. What are your plans?
