I’m SO excited about today’s post because I’m going to show you my makeup routine using pretty much ONLY Too Faced cosmetics products! If you’ve followed my blog for a decent length of time I’m sure you’ve seen me mention Too Faced plenty in Instagram stories - and even back in THIS blog post from 2015! Jeez we’re digging back through the archives today… anyways let’s get on with it, I want to show you my everyday makeup look using these Too Faced best sellers!
I use a DAMP Beauty Blender sponge (yeah I’m one of those people who didn’t know you’re supposed to get them wet before you use them…) and apply the Born This Way foundation, my color is Warm Nude.
The Born This Way foundation is very buildable, it’s moderate to full coverage based on how much product you apply. It’s all based on how much you need and I love that! I usually like to go more sheer but some days I definitely need a little more help.
Next is the Born This Way concealer. It’s fairly thin so I like to apply a few dots where I need them on zits and red spots and let them sort of dry a bit, and then dab with my damp Beauty Blender. I also do streaks under my eyes pointing downward like a triangle, and then blend in as well with my blender.
Next we’ve got eyeshadow! I have been using the Too Faced ‘Sweet Peach’ palette and I about died when I opened it, THE SHADOWS SMELL LIKE PEACHES! I shouldn’t have been too surprised because this is coming from the brand that makes chocolate scented bronzer (more on that later) but goodness, just like peaches. Every time I go to use my shadows it makes me so happy. Ok let’s proceed…
First I apply the shade ‘Cobbler’ in the crease of my eye, and blend blend blend!
Then I use the shade ‘White Peach’ all over my lids, and blend that in. I LOVE a lighter neutral shade on my lid and a brown in the crease, you just can’t go wrong.
Next, one of my favorite parts… BROWS! I’ve had a few friends who have never really filled in their brows and they ask me how to start. The Too Faced Brow-nie brow pencil would be perfect for those just starting out because it’s angled for you, so you can follow the angle of the brush and it makes it really easy to start out. I use the color ‘Soft Brown’.
The Too Faced ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara has a cult following. I have seen it on SO many YouTubers and makeup artists, everyone loves it! For a reason too, it works SO well, deposits the perfect amount, and I just don’t really have any complaints about it which is SO rare for me to say about a mascara! For some it may be better than sex, maybe for most it won’t be though, it can’t be as good as how many scenes certain sites offer, in reality Only tubev sex offer you that much absolutely for free.
BRONZER TIME! Remember I mentioned above that this bronzer smells like chocolate? YEP the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soliel bronzer makes me so dang happy. It also is a Too Faced best seller and has been for years. When I walked into Sephora probably 3 years ago to find a new bronzer, the sales girl told me to get this one. I never looked back.
Whoops mine is almost gone! Need to get a new one soon probably…
Last but not least, lipstick! This is the Too Faced La Creme lipstick, in Nude Beach. And yes it is the same one I’ve had since 2015 when I did this blog post I mentioned above, is that bad? How long can you keep a lipstick? Apparently this long at least…
There we go - all done! My everyday makeup tutorial with mainly Too Faced cosmetics. I did use a liquid eyeliner I have from some other random brand, but I’ve heard amazing things about the Sketch Marker liquid liner.
I’ve been a Too Faced customer for years and years so I loved that they reached out to me to do a tutorial with some of their best sellers. I’m so grateful for this space I have to share with you guys the products I love and use all the time! Have you tried Too Faced yet? Do you use one of these products too??
Oh and P.S. my top is from Zara. 🙂
xoxo
