Remember yesterday’s yummy Coconut Raspberry Lemon Bars recipe? Well I got together with my good friend Brittany to make it, using the HP x360 to help us every step of the way!
The HP x360 Behind the Scenes video inspired us to “bend the rules” of a typical recipe blog post. In the video, the creative people working together used their x360 laptops in so many different ways to create something amazing. I wanted to partner with my friend Brittany because not only is she my best friend, but she is also a blogger and so talented, I knew we could come up with something great!
We first sat down and used the HP x360 in tablet mode to explore Pinterest for an amazing recipe we could make. We both LOVE sweets so we spent some serious time scrolling through the search results, which was so easy with the touch screen on the x360.
We finally settled on a Lemon Coconut Crumb Bar recipe from Two Peas in Their Pod. Lemon just sounds so good in the summer, we instantly agreed! We tweaked the recipe just a bit with a few of our own variations, like adding some raspberries on top and using a little more lemon curd than was called for. You can find the full recipe from yesterday’s post here!
We used the HP x360 in tent mode as we made the recipe, which made it SO easy to see every step, and scroll through the website with the touch screen. (Without worrying about getting ingredients in the keyboard!)
After we made the bars (with the smell of lemon wafting through the house) we sat down to write our blog posts and edit our photos. We used the HP x360 in laptop mode, which made it so easy to write our recipe posts.
We had a great time teaming up to make these delicious Lemon Raspberry Crumb Bars, and it couldn’t have been easier using the HP x360!
The different modes of the computer allowed us to “bend the rules” when creating our post, because we could adapt it to our needs and not the other way around. We didn’t have to worry about the computer getting ruined with stray flour or sugar while we were using it to reference the recipe, in tent mode the keyboard was safely tucked away. In tablet mode we didn’t have to share one computer, we easily passed the tablet back and forth easily to view the recipe options we were interested in. And of course, we needed the functionality of a regular laptop when drafting our post.
I loved teaming up with Brittany, check out her recipe post here and her feature on the HP x360 here! You should definitely also see the HP x360 Behind the Scenes video, where a group of creatives came together to create an innovative music video. Watch it here!
