Today I am SO excited to be partnering with HP to introduce you to the Pavilion x360, and announce their partnership with Meghan Trainor during her “That Bass Tour”!
The HP Pavilion x360 is not just a laptop. It has 4 different modes so you can “bend the rules” and use it in the way that works best for you! The 4 modes are Laptop, Tablet, Tent and Stand. In the morning I really like to read the news and check out new blog posts from bloggers I follow with a tablet. It is super easy to flip the keyboard around and it automatically detects that it is in Tablet mode. I use the touch screen to navigate around and the on screen keyboard if I need to type anything!
(The camera angle is making the screen look blank, but I was really looking at a blog, not staring at a black screen haha!)
Of course the other mode I use the x360 in the most is Laptop mode. As a blogger I use my laptop constantly to respond to emails and create posts, and the x360 makes that so easy! It is exceptionally light, and easy to handle. I’ll be completely honest, I do most of my work from the comfort of my bed! The beauty of a portable laptop my friends. The battery life is exceptional too- on my first charge I seriously didn’t have to plug it in for a few days! It’s so nice not to be tethered to a charger.
Do you like Meghan Trainor?! I LOVE her! I have been getting so in to her music lately, and not just “All About that Bass” that she is known for. When you get a chance you need to check our her duet with John Legend called “Like I’m Gonna Lose You“, homegirl can sing! Well HP and some of Meghan’s fans are going along with Meghan on her “That Bass Tour” to give a behind-the-scenes look at her tour from her hair and makeup to her choreography! There are two ways to follow along:
- “All About That Tour”: a behind-the-scenes look at key elements of Meghan’s tour—from hair & makeup to choreography.
- Fan Generated Documentary: HP is getting Viners, YouTubers, and Instgrammers to capture footage of each Meghan Trainor tour stop! The footage will be stitched together into a documentary available at the end of the tour.
You can follow along with the tour by watching Behind The Scenes episodes on the HP Meghan Trainor’s That Bass Tour page or by following @HP for updates on social media!
In honor of the 4 modes of the HP Pavilion x360, I created 4 ways to wear your classic black pencil skirt! It is an item of clothing as versatile as the x360. There are so many different ways to wear a basic black pencil skirt, and I wanted to give you a few new ideas so you can really branch out and try it in a way you maybe haven’t before!
- Top left: Casual comfort! This look is great for a day in class, or a fun weekend activity like attending a basketball game or hanging out with friends! Ditch your jeans and get your pencil skirt in the mix.
- Top right: Cocktail party glam. Going to an event or party? Don’t feel like you need to run out and get a new dress. You can dress up your classic black pencil skirt easily with some fun accessories that will make you stand out. I added sparkly shoes, and a bow tie to really dress up the look. Add a bright lip color and you’re done!
- Bottom left: Date night! A pencil skirt and flats can be a nice way to prepare yourself for any date option. Not sure if it will be fancy or more casual? A skirt and flats is versatile because it doesn’t look like you’re trying too hard- BUT you still look nice and put together! A fun blouse is a good option, or add a graphic tee to make it even more casual, but still date appropriate!
- Bottom right: Office ready. Do you work in an office? Your black pencil skirt can work for the workplace too! Your basic button down and simple classic heels can give you an easy go-to office look. Add a printed blazer if you want to mix it up, or for a more formal office environment keep it simple and minimal, and you won’t have to worry if you’re wearing the right thing!
This post was sponsored by HP, but all opinions are totally my own!
How will you #bendtherules?
Great styling selection! I love how effortless the top left is, but I love the shoes on the top right!!
