I am FINALLY getting going on my YouTube channel! Holy moly I did NOT realize how hard it is to film and edit a video. Shoutout to anyone who does this on the regular, it has been a learning experience to say the least!
I used my Irresistible Me hair extensions to show you how to use clip-ins. I tried to include a few tips for things I do when wearing my extensions, I hope it helps! They are so fun for getting that extra volume or length we need sometimes, and especially necessary for certain kinds of braids.

Maybe you mentioned it but I missed it, but what color of extensions did you use in this tutorial. I feel like your hair color is quite similar to mine and it’s so hard to find decent red hair extensions!

Hey Rachelle! These were originally Platinum Blonde but I had my colorist color them to match my hair. Ask your colorist what color you should get and they should be able to take it from there!

Do you curl the extensions after you put them in or before? Is that a dumb question? I really, really, really want to get extensions, but I’m afraid I’ll look ridiculous or that I won’t be able to match my color. First world problems, right?
NO that’s not a dumb question! I actually do it both ways. Sometimes I curl them beforehand, and sometimes I curl them when they’re already clipped in. For the video tutorial I curled them before putting them in so it was a faster video. 🙂 Either way works!
And on the color - it is WAY surprising how far off the color can look when they’re not clipped in, and then you put them in and they somehow blend together!! My hair is always fading or getting re-colored and I generally keep my extensions the same color, and I don’t really ever have problems with them blending in. Worst case scenario you just have your colorist match them and then you’re done! 🙂
