THREE WAYS TO STYLE YOUR FAVORITE PLAID SHIRT
Method 1: Classic tucked in.
Button that sucker up and tuck it in to your jeans! This is a crisp look you can get away with in the workplace if you have to wear collared shirts, or just out to dinner. It looks put together and simple.
Method 2: Open Layered
Un-button that shirt and layer it over another top! Layering is my favorite part of fall and winter, and I love this way to add a little interest to your outfit. You can be extra warm if you layer with a long sleeved shirt, or just layer over t-shirt on a warm day. Either way looks great and effortless. Try it over a graphic tee for an edgy look!
Method 3: Tied Around Waist
This is my number one favorite way to wear my plaid shirts! I just LOVE the look. It is sporty but also flattering, because it tucks in your waist. Also if you get chilly you can untie it and wear it over whatever top you’re wearing. I recommend sticking with a tee or long sleeve top when you wrap it, don’t wrap it over another button down top. It is so versatile!
