I live in Utah and our winters can get pretty brutal. When it gets rainy and snowy I’m limited to about 2 pairs of shoes I own that I can get wet without ruining. Now I can add these beautiful SOREL Addington boots to the list! (I won’t go traipsing around in calf-high snow in them of course, but light rain and snow are totally fine.)

I also have been known to slip on ice and fly right on my butt – so I will be wearing these boots often when the snow hits (for my own safety really). They have a rubber outsole so you grip the ground better.

I knew they would be great for the Utah weather, but I wasn’t expecting them to be so comfortable! They have a decent 2.5” heel, but the stacked platform and comfy arch support inside made me not want to take them off when they came in the mail from Zappos. I should have realized, because one of the reviewers on Zappos who also bought these boots said that she wore them around London ALL-DAY exploring and in the rain, and they worked great. Sounds like I need to book a ticket to London…

Do you have any SOREL boots for the winter? This is my 2nd pair so far and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
