You should know that these Thursday Boots ankle boots are practically weather proof - they have a fancy suede treatment so water or snow just pools up and won’t penetrate the fabric! Why don’t all booties have this??

Lately I’m trying to get into the really real everyday looks I like to wear… Sometimes it’s easy to kind of play “dress up” with an outfit and… embellish? Like add heels because it looks prettier, but in real life I probably wouldn’t wear heels. You know what I mean, right? Well I’m kind of over it. I want to show you actual, real, everyday outfits I wear in life, and this is one of them.
Denim on denim is something I always made fun of my Dad for when I was growing up, and now I find myself doing it on the regular… whoops! As long as the denims are different shades, I think it works. I also went with my navy ‘Downtown’ booties from Thursday Boots. Very monochrome, but I like it so that’s all that matters! You remember my last post wearing my black combat boots from Thursday? My obsession with their brand continues because they are SO comfortable, well made, and I know they will last a loooooong time.
Happy Thursday! We’re almost to the weekend, it’s so close! I have to give a presentation in front of 90+ people on Friday at work, so wish me luck and let’s hope I don’t sound like a blubbering idiot! (I tend to talk VERY fast when I’m nervous…it’s a problem.)
