Michael Jackson jacket, am I right?

I’m obsessed with this thing. You remember my sequin sleeve jacket?

Last seen here and here. Well this jacket above is the same brand!

I can’t get enough of them apparently. I love a good statement jacket, they’re so easy to throw on and instantly look put together and styled.

Oh and if you were curious what color my hair is naturally, it’s peeking out to say hello in these pics. Good thing I have a hair appointment soon! This is what happens when you find a great colorist (and friend) and then everyone else realizes how amazing she is too!

All That Glitters

This is one of those perfect outfits, comfy favorite jeans, wedges that feel like they were made for me, statement jacket, and I’m out the door!

I’m still waiting for one time when I wear this jacket and don’t get any comments on it, I guess that’s the hazard of wearing sequins during the day!

In case you somehow didn’t notice, I have a large scar on my ankle.

You know how your parents would tell you, “Don’t jump in the shallow end of the pool, you could hurt yourself!” Well I’m living proof! I didn’t do it on purpose of course, I just didn’t realize how shallow the pool was that I jumped in to, and landed just right on my ankle! I got a few screws and a gnarly scar out of it, so now you know the story next time it makes an appearance!

Sequin Sleeve Jacket

This jacket was such a good buy.

I’m not exaggerating, every single time I wear it I get comments on it. Thankfully they’re usually compliments, however some people (men) just get a kick out of it. “Oh are you going to the disco?” Or my husband in a store the other day trying to get my attention, “Hey Christmas tree!”

It’s okay, I’m obsessed with the thing so they can say whatever they want!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know mine was packed with fun, I got to go to dinner with some of my best girl friends which I always LOVE. Realizing 5 hours have gone by and you’ve been talking non-stop! Those are the best times.

We finished off our night with Gourmandise in SLC, and oh my goodness you have GOT to go if you’re ever in the area. We tried the creme brulee, the Mille Feuille au Fraises (fancy pants dessert with layers of cake, creme, strawberries, and heaven), the mixed fruit tart, and a cookie and each one of them was delicious.

I really hope I forget this place exists somehow or I will be making a regular stop there every time I’m in SLC.

I ALSO got to attend the Albion Fit preview runway show of their new swimsuit line designed by the Girls with Glasses and Small Fry Blog. I was dying, the designs are SO stinking cute.

They had the cutest swimsuits for little girls to match the adult swimsuits they designed! I’m going to have to steal my niece and match with her just because they were so amazing.
