I have ALWAYS wanted to try out airbrush makeup, but never had the opportunity until now! The lovely people at Luminess gave me this adorable baby blue airbrush makeup machine so I could try it out for myself. I’ve had such a blast learning this technique and I just LOVE the results. It truly is so unique and unlike any other makeup I’ve worn.

The kit even came with an instructional DVD, which was great because I was irrationally nervous that I wouldn’t do it right!

I started with the primer and then moved on to foundation. The shade 3 worked great for me! I only needed 5 or 6 drops for my whole face. If I need any additional coverage it’s super easy to pop a few more drops in and cover a little more of my problem areas.

The blush was SO easy to use as well, I was worried I would look like a clown, but with a really gentle application it came out so natural and flawless.

A surprise favorite was the Brightening Glow! It adds just the slightest shimmer where you want it. I used it on the tops of my cheekbones and a little on my browbones. It just adds a little lightness that makes you look so fresh and awake.

I absolutely love this machine. It didn’t take long to get the hang of the technique at all, if I can figure it out so can you! I also noticed that the airbrush compressor and stylus are really well made, and I can see using it for years and years. It is also really reasonably priced, especially compared to other airbrush systems I’ve seen. I’m definitely an airbrush believer now! I guess I can cancel my Photoshop subscription…
