I AM SO all about the cold-weather wardrobe right now! The temps are finally dropping and I am pulling out my fall and winter clothing the very second it hits 65 degrees. In the meantime I picked up a few new pieces from Banana Republic’s fall new arrivals and they are SO good. During this pregnancy I need to be out and about working my full time job, running errands, going on trips (we just got back from a trip to Oregon and before that I was in Atlanta for a few days) and I insist on comfort, while still looking put together.
That goes for fall too, when I may be tempted to throw on a sweater and leggings, I instead am going to be pulling from comfortable yet stylish pieces, like this dress and cardigan. I basically feel like I’m wearing pajamas and a blanket, yet look like I could be going anywhere from church to a work meeting no problem. You would not believe how soft this cardi is! Plus it comes in 3 colors that were VERY hard to choose from. I love the ruching on this dress too because it’s so flattering, and just so happens to accommodate the baby bump while not actually being a maternity dress. P.S. I got a small tall in this dress and could have actually probably just gone with the regular length, because it’s slightly long even for me at 5′ 9″. I’m also wearing an XS in the cardigan.
I love that I’ll be able to wear any of these pieces separately as well as together this season. What are you shopping for lately to add to your fall wardrobe as the temps drop?
