I am a HUGE fan of vests because they are somehow SO warm! You don’t feel like you’re super bundled up in a coat, yet having at least your chest cozy keeps in so much heat. I went for an XS in this vest assuming I’d just wear it open while pregnant, but somehow it still zips over the belly if I want to go for that look! I was 26 weeks pregnant when I wore this outfit, so there’s a chance that might not be the case any more - but for what it’s worth the sizing is extremely forgiving.
In other news I finally found a pair of maternity jeans I like! I tried a bunch of different brands from different online stores (online seems to be the best route) and this one Old Navy pair is what I ended up with - well along with an AG pair I randomly found on Poshmark that worked amazingly too! I’ve discovered I really have to have the built in over-the-bump band, the other style where the waistband goes under the bump just is NOT comfortable for me, especially if I ever need to sit down - I feel like I was squishing baby girl! Anyways this pair is definitely a winner and I expect lots of wear out of them the next 3 months through winter too.
It’s finally getting SO chilly here in Utah! We had about a week of actual fall weather and now it’s in the 50’s - 60’s, which is more winter cold in my book, but the leaves have been beautiful and the mountains dusted in snow. It’s gorgeous! Fall/Winter is my absolute favorite time - I can’t WAIT for pumpkin carving, haunted houses, scary movies, costumes, Thanksgiving, cozy candles, blankets, CHRISTMAS - UGH it’s all just so wonderful, and to top it all of every day we’re getting closer and closer to little girl getting here!
