Midi skirts are my life. They are seriously THE BEST. No worries about exposing yourself when you’re out and about because of the extra length, and they are usually high waisted- therefore extremely flattering. This one from Tai Pan caught my eye immediately because I thought of a picnic when I saw the checkered print. Basically any item of clothing that makes me think of a picnic, I have to have.

Side note- this skirt ran a teensy bit big so I took it to my local seamstress to alter it custom to my waist. That is KEY when you’re buying new things or looking to really hone in your wardrobe. If something isn’t the perfect fit, it can often be altered! I would have rarely worn this skirt because of it being a little big, and now it fits perfectly and I’m obsessed!
