I have not really ever been a maxi person in my life - maxi dresses or maxi skirts never seemed to suit me. For some reason the past few months I’ve just been drawn to them! I just find myself always looking out for great prints, or good designs. I find them so effortless and just love the silhouette. So classic, but still unique in that it’s a break from the t-shirt and jeans standard.

This dress sort of started my maxi fever… I saw it on my new favorite Instagram shop, Poppy and Dot and I said YEP I NEED IT. You know how sometimes a print or pattern just appeals to you? I always find it so interesting how one person can love a certain print, and another might not like it at all. This floral print just immediately charmed me. Anyways if you love it as much as I do you better hurry, they just re-stocked it and who knows if they’ll get more! (Oh and if you didn’t already know about Poppy and Dot, you’ll thank me later because they’re pretty much my addiction.)

I’m off to Vegas tonight and I’m so excited! I’ll be hanging by the pool, and spending some time with family and friends. What are your plans for the weekend?
