Mixing prints is something I am rather new to…
I like to check out my favorite blogs and Pinterest to get outfit inspiration when I’m feeling stuck, and one of my top favorites is Blair from Atlantic Pacific. Homegirl is the QUEEN of pattern mixing successfully. I was browsing through her blog and when I went to style this skirt I knew I wanted to have a print on top to go with it rather than the typical solid color I would normally do! A grid print shirt is pretty much essential to your closet- they are still a print but a very versatile one and it really goes with SO much.
This Vesper ‘Alyssa’ floral midi skirt is really one of those pencil skirts you put on and go, oh yeah, this FITS. Like it fits WELL. The fabric is that perfect weight where it is flattering, but not too thick or awkward. Also you guys know my attraction to florals or tropical prints, this skirt was a no brainer.
I hope your week is going well so far!

This outfit is perfect! I’m dying over the heels and the skirt. I think you do pattern mixing so well, especially because grid print is a favorite of mine 🙂

I would never mix two prints like that, that’s an awesome way to do it! I’ve been eyeing up a printed shirt just like that, but never know what it will go with. Now I have ideas!
