I am so proud to be a part of the #AerieREAL campaign! You can see my feature on their blog here.
It is all about embracing your real self – flaws and all. Our flaws are what make us unique and special, and there is a power that comes when you embrace them! I purposefully wore minimal makeup in these photos to try to be myself, and these images are un-retouched. I styled a cozy Aerie sweater, scarf, and leggings, which is a VERY real outfit for me because this is exactly what I usually wear out to run errands in the winter! Who wants to be in a stuffy outfit running around town when you can be comfortable and functional?! Also I like to wear blanket scarves like this, as a wrap, because it feels like you’re literally wearing a blanket around and nobody can say anything! 🙂

One of my favorite parts of the #AerieREAL campaign is their inclusion of all different body types as models. In the fashion industry it gets SO old seeing the same types of models day in and day out, it’s so unrealistic.
