Last weekend my best friends and I got to stay at the Grand America in SLC for a little getaway! My friends Alyssa and Becca came in town from my hometown of Las Vegas for Brittany‘s baby shower on Saturday, so Thursday night we knew we needed to do something fun. We were greeted with the cutest setup complete with a chocolate piano and gift basket with goodies from shops at the Grand.
Hiiiiiiii beautiful bathroom….
The view from our room!
I just love these girls! (Brittany, Becca, Alyssa & Me) The Grand America robes are CHOICE.
Friday morning we woke up for the breakfast buffet! If you’re a breakfast lover like I am this is a MUST. The sourdough waffles were a favorite and definitely spring for the orange juice. It’s fresh squeezed and it makes all the difference. Makes you feel like royalty!
After breakfast we did some shopping at the shops inside the Grand America. Our first stop was Jou Jou, their children’s store. It. Is. Adorable! They have bulk candy and a giant talking robot. We did some shopping for Brittany’s baby shower on Saturday and I got the perfect swaddling blankets for baby girl.
After Jou Jou we checked out the Ladies Store - they have brands nobody else in Utah has! It’s the cutest boutique - so feminine and classic.
Hi pretty pink dress!
Funny story, we went to the courtyard to take a photo and there was one guy outside in a hoodie. We asked him to take the picture of us and he did. As he was handing my camera back, Alyssa asked, “Excuse me, are you Tony Parker?” And he said YES! I recognized him but only because of the Eva Longoria debacle. Apparently his team played the Jazz over the weekend. He booked it after that, probably to avoid us asking to take a photo with him. He did a decent job right?
We had such a good time, there’s nothing like a girls getaway to rejuvenate you! I love my friends so much. A huge thank you to the Grand America for hosting us, they were wonderful!
xoxo
