Well I had my perfectly fuzzy Blank NYC coat on with this outfit but I left it in the car, SO YA GET WHAT YA GET. It has been wildly cold here in Utah, like the other night it got down to -1 and I didn’t leave the house for 3 days. It has also been snow and rain-storming here and as such all I wear are these boots. I’m not just saying that to be dramatic, or be nice because they sent them to me, but I wear them almost every single day and it’s getting a little ridiculous at this point.

I’ve been looking for a pair of black combat boots for months now. I wanted something really chic but COMFORTABLE, like I’d look put-together and on trend, but could walk around all day with no probs. I was on the hunt and never quite found what I was looking for, when a friend from high school (YES a LONG time ago no I won’t tell you how long ago) messaged me saying they’d started a boot company (Thursday Boot Co. to be exact) and would I like some YES I WOULD thank you very much person I haven’t talked to in 10+ years… Life, you know?

More specifically they had a men’s boot company, and recently bought women’s styles to the table. I don’t know what took them so long because they are seriously impeccably made. High quality leather, amazing quality, I know these boots are going to last for ages and ages. I chose this ‘President‘ style, and my normal size 9.5 fits perfect.

Long story short, I wear my new perfect chic black combat boots constantly. The ‘Downtown’ in Daisy is next on my list…
