I told you guys more professional working-girl outfits would be coming to the blog soon (because of my new career as a real estate agent)! I’m really interested in dressing office appropriate, but with style. I think it’s super easy to get caught up in the slacks/skirt + collared shirt routine and be oh so woefully boring, but it doesn’t have to be! Take this skirt - it’s already so fun with the blue stripes - but I knew I wanted even MORE stripes! Something about pattern mixing is so fun, it’s a challenge but when you get it right, I love the contrast. Side note - my husband does NOT get pattern mixing. He’s always like, “Those don’t go together!!” 🙂 Too bad, I say they do.

Side note - I went skiing today for the first time in YEARS and now that I’m finally sitting down to write this post, I feel like I got hit by a truck. How is it so exhausting?! SO much fun though, I definitely want to go more before the season is over.
