When I saw this dress - I knew I needed it! I’ve always had a sweet spot for sunflowers… how they turn to face the light wherever they are. How big and bright they are, and how they make people happy. I love them, so I knew this dress would make me happy (IT DOES.) I also knew I needed to bring some big sunflowers to shoot with it! Some say, “Jackie, isn’t carrying sunflowers wearing a sunflower dress a little MUCH?” And to that I say, no dear, no it is not.
Do you remember seeing these shoes recently? (See here and here.) They are just so comfortable, and I feel they transition so well to fall! If you’re worried about a stray rain or snow storm, get the suede waterproofed (or buy waterproofing spray online). No worries!
Speaking of rain, it rains just about every day here in Thailand. Facebook still gives me a nice little notification every day though - “Stay dry Jackie, there’s rain expected later today in Bangkok!” DUH FACEBOOK you can stop notifying me - it’s called the rainy season for a reason! Luckily it mainly rains at night or in the afternoon, so it’s not constant all day. Also I love rain.
This is actually the last of my reserve outfits from back home - get ready for the travel posts! Tell me what you’d like to see most - sample itineraries, things to see, basics, ideas… leave me a comment or send me a DM on Insta!
xoxo
Beautiful print!

Your sunflower dress is so adorable. It’s a perfect fall transition piece too. I like how you added the white tee under it to make more early fall appropriate.
