Sparkly Maternity Photoshoot

It seems to be tradition that you have to get dressed up in a fancy outfit and go take photos in your last few weeks of pregnancy, so I did just that! Paige and I braved the snow and got some great shots…and then realized I’d locked my keys in my car so we had to wait 45 minutes for my husband to come bring me the spare. #PregnancyBrain

So we took MORE photos while we waited! ? It was actually nice to have an excuse to get dressed up fancy and wear sequins and tulle in a snowy field. Sometimes when you’re super pregnant you don’t always feel pretty, so making that extra effort was kind of just what I needed. In these photos I was a few days shy of 37 weeks pregnant. My friend had a maternity photoshoot and told me to check out somewhere like www.olgatopchii.com since she loves having pictures to look back on. I reached out on Insta stories and asked you guys at what point you should take maternity photos and the overwhelming response was 35 weeks. I’ve honestly had a pretty easy time being pregnant so waiting until 37 wasn’t a big deal for me and I’m glad to have memories being just about as big as I’m going to get! This dress was also such a good choice - I believe I’m wearing a size US 4 for reference, AND it comes in non-maternity and tall sizing as well! (see below)

I can’t believe we’re in the final countdown! I have I think 11 days left until my due date - I was hoping she’d come a bit early, but it’s seeming like she is just cozy in there. I might have to start bouncing on my yoga ball and drinking raspberry leaf tea! ?
