Black & Leopard

August 8, 2018

So WHAT DO WE THINK about the short hair!? I posted a selfie on Insta when I chopped it, but this is my very first post with short hair… oh I don’t know EVER! The last time my hair was close to this length was I think 5th grade. I’m still learning and figuring out how to style it, but so far I have had NO regrets and it feels so fresh and clean now. I also struggle with volume and having my styles last, and with less hair weighing it down it has been so much better!

I WISH I posted about this dress sooner because it’s only $12 and it’s SO cute and perfect for summer! They keep coming back in stock with random sizes and then selling out again, so if you keep checking you might get lucky. It also comes in orange which I absolutely LOVE if I wasn’t pregnant, because I’m scared I’d look like a human orange. 🙂

If you guys know me you know I can’t go too long without wearing something leopard! This blazer was too cute to pass up - it’s a really light woven material that you can still layer in the summer because it’s so light.

How about that baby bump! This is my first post with short hair AND a bump! This is so exciting - I’m seriously having a blast styling this growing tummy of mine, I have had such an easy time being pregnant so far (knock on wood) that I just love it. So far the only actual “maternity” things I’ve bought are a pair of leggings, and jeans from Old Navy. Right now is such an ideal time because I’m not too big to really need maternity stuff just yet, but I can get away with stretchy dresses and many of my normal clothes. I know the time is going to come when that isn’t the case any more, but for now I’ll be sharing lots of things that work for both growing tummies, and non-pregnant ladies as well! Hope that works for you guys - I’ve got some fun outfits in the next few weeks…

Thanks for sticking around through this journey - quite a few changes lately and I’m loving them ALL!

xoxo

[…] I linked a TON below in the widget for you that are really similar! I’ve definitely just been living in basic black dresses so far this pregnancy, so we’ll see how that changes once winter and the chilly weather roll […]
