I cannot even begin to count the number of times I have worn this dress during the past few months! I got it right around the time I found out I was pregnant, thinking it might work over the teeny bump, and here I am (in these photos 18 weeks, while writing this post currently 23 weeks) pregnant wearing it still to this day! It stretches the perfect amount to work wether you’re pregnant or not - and the buttons are FAKE so there are no awkward gaps at all. I may get it hemmed at my knees later on, but for now I am loving the midi length and how classy it is for such a simple dress. I’m sorry there’s only a couple sizes left, but I linked a TON below in the widget for you that are really similar! I’ve definitely just been living in basic black dresses so far this pregnancy, so we’ll see how that changes once winter and the chilly weather roll in.
I don’t know if you saw on Insta - but we had a fantastic time on a little impromptu road trip to Yellowstone National Park over Labor Day weekend! It was a quick trip but we loved getting some fresh air and into the beautiful Yellowstone scenery for a couple days. We went to Bear World and if you’ve never been, I highly recommend it, I went with my family growing up and I just never got over it! You drive your car through this big park and they have over 45 bears there, bison, elk, deer, and even moose that can come right up to your car and you just feel right in there with them, it’s so much fun. They also have a petting zoo and usually baby bear cubs that you can watch play, or bottle feed for an additional charge. After Bear World we drove up to Yellowstone park and walked around the thermal pots, admiring how unique the scenery is. We OF COURSE watched Old Faithful go off, along with about 30,000 other tourists but it was still a great time. I thought I remembered Old Faithful being bigger? Or somewhat more impressive? Don’t get me wrong, it was awesome, but I guess when you’re a kid or teenager everything is a little bit bigger and more exciting. 🙂
I think I’m getting real antsy to go on some trips this month because It’s dawning on me that we won’t really be able to go anywhere from about November into next year for at least a while! That’s why this month I’m heading on a girl’s trip to Atlanta, and a trip to Oregon with hubs at the end of the month. That should satisfy my travel bug for awhile!
What are your plans this month? Staying in town or taking a few last minute summer trips?
xoxo
Love the pop of leopard!
